The Grand Hall UTAR
Stone House

Established in 1968, Associated Builders and Contractors Sdn Bhd has built a reputation over the decades as the premium name in construction.

ABC is based in Ipoh and is widely-recognised as the state’s most established construction company. In our history spanning more than 40 years, we have successfully completed over 140 projects of every size and type, all over the nation.

Our portfolio includes the building of stadiums, hypermarkets, factories, university campuses, schools, roads, bridges, reservoirs, water treatment plants, residential homes, and even a royal palace. We have a long list of satisfied clients who are some of the country’s most high-profile brands and companies. Among them are Hong Leong Berhad, Tesco, Mydin, the Ministry of Education, the Ipoh Town Council, the Road Works Department (Jabatan Kerja Raya), OYL (York air-conditioners), Carsem semiconductors, University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Tabung Haji, the Perak Water Board (Lembaga Air Perak), Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak, and Hume Industries.

We pride ourselves in the quality of our workmanship and the timeliness of our project completion.

To this day, we have always ensured that ABC is the name to rely on, without fail. Our successes speak for themselves. The massive RM70 million OYL factory was built in 8 months, while a RM100 million UTAR campus was completed 5 months ahead of schedule. Tesco commissioned us to construct 2 stores, one for RM41 million, the other (in Kuala Selangor) for RM27 million, and both were delivered within just 6 months. We have also built over 100 reservoirs around the nation.
